NEEDS & DISABILITIES (SEND)

We have high aspirations for all of our pupils. This positive culture of inclusion across the wider Preston Hedges Trust underpins our excellent practice in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The foundations of this approach are early identification and recognition of differences, followed by a clear process of assess, plan, and review – putting pupils at the heart and centre of all considerations and activity.

We work in partnership with all our families to secure the best outcomes for all pupils. If parents have any concerns about their child’s learning, they should contact their child’s class teacher or speak to our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).
